I can't praise Simon's work enough. He and another guy came out just around 11 to install attic access in my hallway and close up the old access point in a bedroom. I figured it would be a two-day job since it was late morning. They came in and immediately got to work. Tarped off everything to keep dust from spreading. put protection down on my floors to protect it. They work continuously until about 6 to get the job done. Fully installed, trimmed, drywall, textured, and painted. Cleaned and wiped their way out of the house. One of the best experiences I have had with any contractor or service.

Simon did a super nice job repairing water damaged window sill and some wall settlement cracks at reasonable price. He responded quickly, communicated well and the job was done with good quality. We are very happy with results, will definitely ask his help again and recommend him to friends!

When we bought our house, the door of one of the bedrooms was sticking pretty bad to the door jamb. This was a while ago, but we didn't fix it until now because we were not using the room. Now that we are making it a guest room, I called SDV Construction and sent a few photos to explain the problem. While the quote was just slightly higher than one of the other two contractors I called, he made time to accommodate for next day service, arrived on time, was very respectful and did a great job. The trim had to be removed, and the whole frame adjusted for everything to align correctly. A second door was just not latching easily, and was a much easier fix. Being a level 9 #localguides I get a chance to share good and bad experiences with companies which I really enjoy writing positive reviews. My experience with SDV Construction And Remodel was a bad experience in several way: 1) They stood me up twice. 2) Did not return my calls (voicemail was full). 3) Did not reply to my texts. Being a general contractor in the past and a veteran owned business owner I know that good communication & customer experience is essential and by not providing this it will affect your business. I hope SDV Construction And Remodel learns from this experience and improves in the future.

Simon and his crew did a great job fixing the broken drywall in my house, they came on time, completed the job with quality and their costs was reasonable compared to some other estimates we received; Thank you!
