Sears Appliance Repair

The tech Timothy was incredibly amazing. He was quite courteous and respectful. He was able to repair my problem immediately after diagnosing the issue. My furnace motor was locked up. I only had a copay of $60. My home warranty covered parts & labor. Im happy to have heat again!

My experience was far from good concerning my washer being repaired, because nothing has worked after 6 appointments over 2 months. But my main technician Mr Clay, was absolutely amazing and very thorough, yet this machine continue to malfunction. So my rating with the technician from Sears, is definitely 5 stars, but the machine itself seems to have worn out. It is Completely exhausting.

Timothy was pleasant and thorough with his diagnosis of the problem with my furnace, however I still have no heat due to what Timothy wrote in his report. The fact that I am a new homeowner with this property, him telling them that the furnace was dirty and maintenance on the furnace is part of the issue. I told him that I had nothing to do with the maintenance of the furnace due do the fact that I just purchased the house was not put in the report. Now it seems that my home warranty plan that I purchased at closing is not going to pay for the repairs based on Timothy's findings. So at this point I am still without heat in my home. We have had a dryer repair ticket open for ten months. We have been no showed nearly every Saturday in those intervening months. One time a technician did come and the part which had arrived was defective. He proceeded with the repair regardless and left the dryer in an inoperable state (the lint screen would not seat properly in the sheath and stuck four inches into the chamber). I went outside to tell him the work was not satisfactory and he said he wouldnt do anything about it so I had to reseat the original defective lint screen. We were then told that we didnt need to renew our warranty because the order was opened during the time it was opened. They also ordered new parts to complete the repair properly. The technician was professional and very quickly diagnosed the problem, but without looking at the ice maker. He quickly said we need a new one that would cost more than half the price of a new refrigerator. I received an email saying that I would get $50 off. It was not clear that would only be the case if I hired them to do the service. It took the technician all of five minutes to tell me I needed to spend way more money than the refrigerator is worth. It seemed like a scam to offer the discount for what will not be worth the cost. When I tried to call in to talk to someone there was no way to talk to a human.
