Sears Appliance Repair

Do not use this company in the Lowcountry! I believe Hilton Head, Beaufort, and Savannah all share the same technicians. First, I had a very unprofessional technician come to fix our fridge. He complained about the company the entire time and told me how much he made, how poorly they treated employees, etc. He had to return a couple weeks later with the part. Waited all day on a Saturday for the company to call at 2pm saying he was no longer available. Fine. He came back a few days later with the same attitude. He also said "don't call me again. I quit." so clearly had no investment in fixing our fridge or caring about his quality of work. Our fridge is acting the exact same and not fixed. We worked with customer service to get another person out here for free (thankfully). Today was the

Josh was great, very personable and professional. He was in and out in no time.

Was woken at 725am by app saying Tech was on his way and we were second stop at with Tech arriving at 8:09. Tech called at 8:30 am and told me we were his last stop of the day and didn’t arrive till 5:22 pm. We were told up front that we had to be home from 8am to 5 pm. I took a day off of work to make sure i was home. Extremely poor customer service to insist on a 8 hour window and then not make it in time.

One time, inexplicable action of door dispenser ice maker could not be addressed. Plan to avoid possible future experience discussed. Future appliance repair or replace insurance plan explained appropriately. Though no resolution to avoid another similar experience was offered, we were satisfied with information supplied.

Robert stayed in touch with me regarding his time of arrival. He diagnosed the problem quickly, showed me the problem, and completed the repair efficiently. I would use him again for any appliance problem.
