Shaffer Beacon Mechanical LLC

For the second year in a row, Shaffer Beacon Mechanical performed an annual maintenance on my oil fired boiler. For the second year in a row, the boiler stopped working within hours. I called them back and was heartened by the repair performed by the after hours emergency technician (Eddy Fernandez). He was very proficient, polite & professional. He did a great job! I will ask for him specifically going forward.

We lost our hot water on Thanksgiving evening. We called Beacon and arranged for next day service. On Friday morning Tony arrived and began assessing potential problems. After calling his supervisor, they believed a mixing valve needed to be replaced. After replacing the valve hot water was restored. Credit goes to Tony in his assessment and professionalism.

Eddie Hernandez did a wonderful job diagnosing the problem and coming up with a fix that did not require the purchase of a new pump. The cost savings was very appreciated. He was professional and courteous. Respectful of my home.

Shaffer {Austin and team) did a great job installing both my new hot water heater and furnace. They arrived on time and completed their work in a professional and timely manner.

Dave and his team at Shaffer Beacon are some of the most professional and knowledgeable when it comes to Residential & Commercial service work. Being in business for over 100 years already says a lot, but once you speak with them you'll see why they're still top of the industry leaders in the state of Connecticut. Highly recommend for any and all of your maintenance and service needs. 5 Stars, but would give more if possible!
