I have used this company for 20 years. Ken the owner has always made effective recommendations on some odd roof styles and is reasonably priced. The crew is very nice & friendly all the time. They are prompt and work steadily until the job is complete each day they are here. They clean up pretty good too. I recommend this company.

Told me they would come by a certain time to do an estimate, showed up 2 hours late. The guy was rude and appeared uninterested, I guess because I didn't need all my roofing redone or my entire house resided. Was at the house for maybe 5 minutes and barely looked at anything, said I don't have time to get on the roof right now. He said maybe I'll have time to stop by tomorrow to get on the roof. Of course no one came the next day or even called. If the work is too small for the company just say so, if any of my neighbors need roofing I would tell them not to call this company.

Can't say enough good things about the guys who fixed my roof. They came right over did an outstanding job. So courteous. They knew what they were doing. Cleaned up the mess. They were worth every penny I paid them.

Shear Contractors are very sketchy. I received a quote from Mr. Shear himself of a set amount. After the quote, it took over 2 weeks, 3 voice messages and an in person visit to their office to get a time frame for when the work would be started. No one calls you back. After I finally got the work completed (quality of the job was ok) I received a bill for much more than was quoted yet I had not authorized extra work to be done. After having my boyfriend leave two voice messages regarding this matter, no call backs were received from them but I did receive a new bill with the original price that was quoted. They will take advantage of their customers if you let them. Ladies especially BEWARE. I would not recommend this company.

This is how they put my new roof on. Actively talking to my lawyer as we speak. Buyer beware.
