Matt, Bryan, and Carl did a fantastic job removing my old hydronic system and replacing it with a Bosch inverter. Spencer specced the job perfectly to fit in my condo’s very small utility closet. Great experience!!

There aren't enough stars to give this company. I had a gnarly situation with an HVAC that took me months of contacting HVAC companies, getting different quotes and suggestions for how to resolve. (I don't think there is an HVAC company in Asheville I haven't had a quote from!) Sheer was the only company that helped me figure out a solution that didn't require removing a load bearing wall. Every single one of the staff is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with and patient with a LOT of questions to fix my situation. The techs (Bryan, Matt, and Carl) were experienced, had a great sense of humor, and worked to find solutions that minimized the damage to my drywall (for a new 240 V switch - and I have never seen a more perfect straight drywall cut in my life!). New HVAC installation today. Installation manager Dave and Tim Brown service manager oversaw the project. Crew arrived on time, were polite, efficient and job was completed in less time that expected. Work site was left clean and orderly. Highly recommend Sheer Comfort as we have benefitted from their work for several years.

I have to say, technician Tim B is fantastic! When I first bought my house 2 1/2 years ago, I found out that he was the one who installed the original HVAC unit, and he is nice enough to oblige me now and every six months for my bi-annual maintenance check calls I request him because I know he knows the unit inside and out. He always goes the extra mile and makes sure everything is cleaned out and tested and working properly before each summer and winter season and I truly appreciate it. I know that keeping maintenance on my system will help it last a lot longer, which means a lot to me. I recommend these guys highly!

We recently built our new home in South Asheville, and the entire Sheer HVAC team wins a tie for Grand Prize of best subcontractor (the other winner is SECO Electric). Travis and his team -- both in the office and the field -- were first-rate from the moment we broke ground until last month when some fine-tuning was required. Technicians Jeff and Carl deserve special mention as being meticulous and thorough, but the whole team was consistently excellent.
