I had an excellent experience with Shumaker Roofing Co. from start to finish. The team was professional, responsive, friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure everything was done to the highest standard and to make sure we understood the process every step of the way. We just had a total roof replacement by Shumaker. They were much more detailed in their evaluation of our roofing needs than other bidders and included more work for the price. Their workmanship was excellent with a very hard-working crew who even worked until dark one night in a race against the weather. We are very happy with the result.

We had been using Shumaker Roofing for many years and were very satisfied with their work. We had them install Certainteed 30 year shingles on the back half our our roof in 2004. In 2020 (16 years later), a Shumaker salesman quoting replacement of the front half of the roof told us we should consider replacing the shingles on the back half of the roof due to wear. After we pointed out that they were installed by Shumaker and were supposed to last 30 years, Shumaker contacted the manufacturer who sent a rep and told us they looked OK. In 2023 we had another contractor do some work that included gutter and drip edge, noted the back roof needed replacement soon. Contacted Shumaker again, asked for inspection and recommendation. This is the third time I’ve used Shumaker and they’re hands-down one of the best companies I’ve ever worked with. We had a tree fall on our roof and they were really easy to work with and very fast with completing the work. We also had a dormer we had to fix from a storm and a leaking gutter. Jon is incredible. He communicates well, shares frequent updates, and advocates for his customer. I’m so grateful to work with this company and I’ll use them again in the future. I can’t recommend them enough.
