Signature Custom Landscape

If I could give negative stars, I would! This is the first contractor I've ever had to fire. David Tubiolo, owner of this business, took $3500 from me for materials to build a retaining wall. He did not purchase any of the materials, nor has he returned the $3500. It took him over two months (he told me repeatedly he had a crew - he does not) to put up 3/4 of a wall so badly done, I've had to hire another contractor to re-build the wall. To date, I have not received any money from Tubiolo and have had to file in Small Claims Court. DON'T HIRE THIS MAN! Update: I see David Tubiolo, the owner of this business, has (after over 6 months) responded to my original post. In his ‘rebuttal’, he neglected to mention that I WON MY CASE against him in Small Claims Court for the full amount of $3500 pl

This review is from both of us--A and B from Pittsford. Dave did a superior job and is highly recommended. He showed up as promised on time--within a month of signing Signature to do the job; Once the job started, Signature kept with it until completed. They replaced an existing patio and hauled away the debris as required. They met all the requirements of our HOA. Signature also power washed the entire house and provided mulching and raking for the posterior, anterior and sides of the house. They reset walking stones in the garden and were careful with the irrigation system. Pricing was competitive and below some of the "big" firms in town

David Tubiolo and his team were outstanding. We had two retaining walls installed and a small patio and they came out beautifully. It was a difficult job due to the hilly terrain but it looks great. I actually have three more retaining walls that I will hire his team to replace. The backyard looks outstanding. Dave cleans up the site every evening so it does not look like a construction site. Dave is very artistic and puts together a unique and pleasing patio design. We are very happy with their work.

Dave and his team responded to my inquiry very quickly..He came out and gave me a fair quote and started work the next day. I came home and was impressed by the quality of work provided. I will definitely recommend him to clients in the future and use his business in the future for any landscaping needs that I have!
