Solid Surface Specialists

My husband and I went to SSS to look over their slabs in the yard. About 10 minutes after we arrived, a woman rushed out of the store and came over to us and told us we were in a restricted area. We had no idea we were not allowed to look at the slabs that were right in front of their store-(we had done this at a few fabricators before.) We told her we had an appointment with Erin tomorrow and as we were in the area, we wanted to stop in and preview the slabs. She told us she was Erin and we couldn't be in the yard due to insurance/liability issues. Now, it is not what she said, but the tone and mannerisms that she used. She was abrupt and downright rude. Frankly, we were both taken aback and shocked she would treat prospective clients this way-she made us feel like we were doing something

Local builder here in AVL. Had SSS install kitchen countertops and back splash in one of our beautiful homes. The installers Don, Jeremy and Jacob were really great to work with. They had a ton of attention to detail and went out of their way to help me with something that I missed. Highly recommend.

Another couple and I walked into the showroom to browse kitchen countertop options and we were abruptly turned away by the woman there saying we had to have an appointment. We weren't offered any other information. What in the world is a showroom for if people can't stop in and browse? So we left and went to another local business (who had very polite and helpful salespeople and allowed us to browse btw!) to purchase our granite kitchen countertops. It's a shame SSS missed out on what would have been pretty easy sales to two different parties. The situation could have easily been handled professionally but instead we were greeted in a cold manner and we had to walk right back out the door.

Solid Surface Specialists were awesome to work with! They were courteous and professional, and we’re very patient with us during the planning and deciding on the right counter tops for our home. I would use them again, and highly recommend them to anyone looking to add solid surface tops to your home or office.

Came out and took measurements. Said they would get us a quote the next day. Over a week later and several phone calls to them and an email, still with no quote or call back. Don't waste your time.
