Just started working on some projects here a few months back. Its been an amazing time! I came in with my original rather simple idea to make a butcher block table but Jim pushed me to make it into something wayyyy better! So far its turning out great! There's tons of tools and space to work on stuff, and its great to be apart of a community thats all trying to do the same thing! Make stuff.

Peter and Jim are great - started a 3 week Design and Build class for my 13yo son today. After we found the place (call and they'll help), it was a whirlwind of learning and doing - day one and my kiddo has a project designed, learned about how to approach from a materials and design perspective, and started building legs. Best of all, he learned to use the machines himself. Members were friendly and helpful and Peter and Jim are enthusiastic teachers. We will definitely be back after the three weeks for other projects.

The staff was exceptional. They helped us navigate the nuance of being total noobs with every detail from wood selection to learning how how to use the numerous power tools and machines. I would strongly recommend them for your next private event!

go there to learn. go there to make something rad. everyone there is super helpful and will guide you through your project in a relaxed, fun atmosphere. they have every tool and machine you could possibly need to make any piece of furniture you can dream up.
