Sound Brickworks

Sound Brickworks is a remarkable masonry company. We hired them to redo mortar that had deteriorated in a basement fireplace due to water damage and to inspect and repair a chimney. Nothing creative yet, but essential jobs that required timely attention by a skilled masonry person. The fireplace restoration was excellent and now with a little paint looks spectacular. The chimney was built in 1921 so had gone through multiple repairs that even I could see were not good. The mortar in the chimney had also deteriorated so it was not safe, even if there were a very small earthquake or perhaps some strong winds. This was also fixed. Justin is remarkably good at explaining what and why would be done in addition to addition to explaining the unexpected issues that usually crop up in these kinds

These are the people you support when you purchase goods and services from a small local business. They are honest and do impeccable work. We had them out to give us a quote for some brick work for our chimney and they immediately noticed a couple other areas that needed attention that we were not aware of. They gave us a reasonable quote and we were able to get the work done quickly, for a reasonable price. They are very kind people running a wonderful small business. If you want quality brick work done I 100% recommend them and would use them again hands down. They are worth every penny!

We were extremely pleased with the chimney repair done by Sound Brickworks. We have an older home (1936) and the mortar was starting to crumble. The birds were pecking away at it in search of bugs! My husband has agreed to stay off the roof and was happy to hire professionals to perform this work on our steep pitched roof. Justin was friendly, timely and professional. Excellent finished product!
