Horrible company! Would not recommend to anyone even in an emergency. Called the emergency hotline while it was 20° outside and my HVAC system wouldn’t turn on. The rep put my ticket in and told me a technician would be calling me shortly. The tech called and he was half asleep and reminded me that he was sleeping and asked me if I could wait until the morning and he would be here at 8 AM. Not having heat in 20° weather sounds like an emergency to me, if I could wait until 8 AM I wouldn’t have called you guys that night. We agreeing that he will come 8 AM the next morning. It’s currently 3:45 PM in the afternoon and that technician hasn’t called me or came by the house like he promised. This is not my first time having to deal with this company since my home warranty was through them. My H

Consistent experience with all the other negative reviews. Horrible install on a new build. One technician straight up told me they hire interns to install new builds and they’re constantly coming out to fix their mistakes. Craftmark sucks for using them and the unprofessional attitude by Angela the cs rep is crazy. Like you installed it and it’s failing within MONTHS. How is that my fault. How are you catching an attitude with me for your failed install. We’ve been in our home 7 seven months and both a/c and heater have issues and need to be serviced every couple of months, while under warranty. Imagine what I’ll have to deal with once warranty is up lol.

I was really impressed with the service technician and the customer service representatives. Ramon did our maintenance check and was detailed and informative. He corrected an issue that had been ongoing for 3 years and the previous vendor didnt diagnose. It was easy to set up a maintenance contract and Christine is friendly and responsive. I would strongly recommend Southern MD Heating & Air.

I wanted to leave a review for Ramon. He is an excellent technician. This is my third time having to put in a ticket with the company. This time, the issue was that the third floor would not heat properly. Ramon really helped me to understand the system and to thoroughly explain the issue I was having. He made sure everything was to my satisfaction and ensured that I would not have similar issues in the future.

We are writing to let the world know how highly we think of Dave, the owner of Southern Maryland HVAVC and all of his employees. He and his team recently did a remarkable one-day transformation of your upper-level utility room. We contracted from the builder to make this a finished space complete with drywall and ceiling lights. Unfortunately, Southern Maryland HVAC was not notified of this change and they installed the standard system complete with numerous flex ducts coming off both systems. In the typical house this would not be a problem. The drywallers, on the other hand, did get the change order and did the best they could with giving us the finished space that we paid for.
