State Capitol Parking Facility

Convenient, but when we went back to our car the doors were locked even though it was 4 hours before closing. Had to walk all the way around to get in.

Free parking and open to all while the legislature is in session (January and February). Not sure of price or policy during other times. It's always crowded but I've always been able to find a spot on upper levels. Bonus for truck owners, my stock 4wd F250 fits and I've seen full size vans in there. But I don't think my lifted F250 would fit.

It's a parking garage. What could 1 possibly add to that?

Good place to park if you get there early. Later on you have to park on the roof. You must be out by 9:00 pm as the gates are locked and you will be stuck until morning.

Cars parked anywhere they want. Cars not parked in designated spots and parked in a manner that would make it impossible for larger vehicles to vacate their spot. It is obvious that this parking structure is not monitored as this looks like it was the normal behavior.
