Unprofessional from the start. Total bait-and-switch on pricing, and easily one of the most expensive companies I’ve dealt with in Lexington. They want their money promptly, but apparently that urgency doesn’t apply when it comes to fixing issues or keeping their word. I’ve used Stones & Granite of Lexington before and had a great experience, but it seems the place has gone downhill fast. Communication is poor, accountability is nonexistent, and customer care clearly isn’t a priority anymore. I’ve asked for the owner to call me — still waiting. Meanwhile, my scheduled Monday install was just canceled late on a Saturday, after they’d had issues all week. Now I’m stuck with no way to coordinate other contractors because of their delay. Iv used stones and granite on 2 new builds and one of my remodels. Every time there’s been minor to major issues. They use paintable white Alex caulk on non painted seams I have to dig out and replace days after they install. All three installs they Left behind slabs or didn’t cut to proper dimensions which cause mutiple trips back to complete.they stagger back splash and counter seam at sink so they don’t line up. Severe Scratches all over slabs. Installers Dont clean up mess or epoxy. they didn’t secure tops down to cabinets. My last job homeowners commented they don’t want installers back in home no mater if it’s fixed or not they will find someone else to replace.They have one thing going for them they’re cheap but they’re not that much cheaper than those iv used in the past and yo
