Steve and Craig are great. I was looking to replace some boards on my Kitchen floor. Contacted floor manufacturer only to find out my floor was discontinued. I asked the manufacturer if they had anything close to what I was looking for and was told they only deal with contractors. I then asked if they had a contractor near me that I could contact. I was provide with 3 different contacts one of which was Sunset Floors Inc. Looked them up and visited the shop, they helped me find a 99% match to the flooring i was looking to get. Steve suggested to have manufacturer get a sample piece to ensure we were happy with the match. Received sample and it looked good. Went there just to ask if they might have some linoleum remnants to cover my 6'x11' patio and they were super cool about it. Not trying to charge me anything, just went out back and sliced off a big roll for me. I gave them some $$ for a beer after work. It's refreshing to have a local business ran by down to earth people now a days. I'm sure if I tried to get some "scraps" anywhere else, they'd try charging me for new stuff or just say no.

From start to finish it was an efficient pain free experience. Installers were punctual and offered added ideas we hadn't thought about. I highly recommend using Sunset Floors.

We replaced the carpet with hardwood flooring in our kitchen and dining room and then decided we also wanted to do the living room. Unfortunately, the flooring we used had been discontinued. We found 10 cartons out in Ohio but needed two more. We went to Sunset Floors looking for a product that looked like what we currently have. They took the time to source two more cartons of a very similar product made by the same manufacturer in the same series that was also discontinued. They creatively suggested how to incorporate the two products together on the floor. We very much appreciated their efforts and follow up. Its not often that a sales rep says that they will call you back and actually do. Top notch customer service!

Frankly wondering if still in business. Picked carpet & they were out to measure. They Responded to my first msg but nothing now for a very long time. Guess I will start over some where else
