Me and my friends had a bad experience at this Target down in Alton. A group of us (around 15 years old) came in looking for a toy (Needohs) and we got a little sidetracked while shopping and went to like the sport isle. One friend bounced a ball for literally a few seconds. A security guard or something came over and told us to stop, which we did and then left the area. After he did that the guard started following us around the store everywhere we went. We kinda noticed him popping up in multiple aisles or at least around us like he was a secret shopper watching us. It felt really weird and unnecessary, especially since we didn’t even do much yet and not doing anything wrong. Later two of us tapped and hit each other once with a balloon (NOT EVEN DISTURBING ANYONE) nobody was near us a

Me and my wife run into target to get a few things it was clean and well stocked she had trouble locating a item it nikky at checkout out was so great target needs more nikkys the experience was great

The Alton location has the best employees that go above and beyond. The employees will spend countless moments looking for merchandise in back if it’s not out on floor yet. We experienced this on numerous visits. I cannot express the gratitude towards them, enough.

Almost every time I come in here self checkout is closed. Why? It makes no sense. I really need to stop coming here, I’m more than capable and prefer checking out my own stuff. I’ll just find a store that keeps their self checkout open all the time.

if your store is open, your self checkout lanes should be open.... especially if you only have one cashier on duty. thank you for wasting my time
