Teknika Kitchens and Baths

Our experience working with Teknika Kitchens and Baths to design and renovate our kitchen was wonderful! Our original plan was to design a layout and hire a contractor but we quickly found our limitations. Working with a kitchen designer added more to our vision than we could have ever imagined. Teknika’s owner and designer, Amy, provided recommendations that resulted in a seamless, sleek look, by incorporating custom cabinets to work around a large pipe to redirecting heating/cooling vents. She also recommended an excellent contractor who was on time, polite, and professional at all times. They stayed in touch throughout the entire renovation and both quickly responded to our questions. Our 60 year old bathroom was ready for a do-over, so we went to Amy Meade at Teknika Kitchens and Baths in Chestertown. We met several times to think about just what we wanted to do with this dated space. After we decided to do a complete reno, Amy helped us make cabinet and fixture selections and we built our budget around our "dream" bathroom. Everything was completed on time (even with Covid shipment issues) and within our budget. It is even more beautiful than we imagined. We remodeled our kitchen and used Teknika for our cabinets - the cabinets are great, but the services at Teknika were even better! Marcy was incredibly knowledgable and helpful. She was patient with us and all our questions throughout the process. It is an added bonus that Teknika is locally owned and operated by women. Overall a great experience!

I love Teknika! They did fabulous kitchen and bathroom renovations for us. Marcy has great ideas and great taste - and is extremely responsive. They carry many fabulous lines. Will absolutely use them again for my next home project!
