Just want to send cudos to the crews who are working on W139th street water main replacement. They have been very professional and tried to keep traffic flowing the best they can. Nice job everyone!

Terrible company, terrible service, and terrible communication. We had water pipes replaced on our street, work was started mid August and we were told it would be done by 9/30. The construction still continues and to date we were never notified of the project being extended. They start after 7 am and are gone by 3 PM (98% of the days). I’ve never seen construction crews work such short days. My husband has worked in and around construction for over 15 years and unless it is due to weather, he never worked less than a 10-12 hr day. Here are just some of things that have been an issue so far: 1) road closed sign was up at main intersection with a worker standing there. So, I assumed I had to go around. Gotta love companies that block your driveway and don't even advise you they are going to do that. I mean why make sure you are blocking someone in who needs to go to work or leave their house?? Any decent company has the respect to inform people before doing that especially when they are not doing work at that person's house.

The development I am living in has hired Terrace for major projects, replacing in-ground water lines, connecting fire hydrants, replacing sewer lines and much, much more. For me and my neighbors they have caused nothing but headaches and trouble. After they replaced some sewer lines in my backyard, which I share with 5 other home owners, our yards look like the desert. The land was supposed to be graded, leveled and new grass seeds spread and covered with straw. Every time it rains the area gets flooded because of too many low spots as they failed to grade the area. Those areas that got seeded are overgrown with weeds, and the rest has no seeds at all because they failed to spread enough straw. I witnessed a member of Terrace construction verbally assault a driver after disruption in the normal flow of traffic THEY CAUSED due to THEIR vehicles being parked inappropriately. This employee began to scream at the top of his lungs and aggressively walked towards the driver punching his hand into a fist and screaming at the driver who was clearly scared. His verbal assault was completely uncalled for and his behavior was pathetic - forcing everyone to watch a grown man have a tantrum in the middle of traffic. This was at the 4 way traffic light at the corner of Woodland and Green on 8/4 at 330 PM.
