I wish I had never responded to an ad to apply concrete to my stone pool deck. Their own website claims to keep a cool surface - even in the Summer. Well it doesn't and the company agreed that they made my pool deck dangerous to the touch so their counsel instructed them to redo most of the project because they were confident they would lose in court. Before they started removal and reinstall I suggested they do a heat-test spot to ensure the same outcome doesn't occur again. They did not listen and I have the same dangerous pool area. Anyone standing barefoot in the Summer in the same spot for over 5 seconds would require hospitalization. Texas Concrete Overlay Solutions did an outstanding job on my front porch and resealing my back patio. They were very detailed in completing all the work required to resurface the front porch. Texas Concrete & Overlay did a job for me a few years ago and my wife and I were very pleased with the job they did and my wife loved the color selections. I called them back this year because the coating was cracking at the end of the patio slab next to the housing foundation. My thought was well, this should be covered under their warranty. They came out and removed the cracked over lament and revealed that there was a one inch gap between the house foundation and the patio slab. I guess with the dry weather, and despite my constant watering of the foundations, the earth shifted and caused this problem. These guys did an absolute phenomenal job on our back patio and installing concrete. We hired them to pour concrete and do an overlay afterwards. They were the most reasonable priced out of the three quotes and were the most responsive. Octavio stands behind his work and his craftsmanship. We installed our overlay right before "Snovid" so we had some minor cracks, but luckily it was easily fixed.
