The DDS Companies

I wanted to take the time to share my great experience with The DDS crew that replaced our gas lines in my neighborhood. Ben C. Was one of the leaders that introduced himself and the work they’d be doing. He was very professional and polite. Carter’s crew came in to replace the pipes and made an extra effort to cause as little damage to my yard as possible. I was surprised how they replaced my entire gas line and meter and only had to dig up a small section by the road. And when Brian’s crew came to repair the roadwork and clean everything back to the way it was the workers were all so good natured and professional. They even repaired a small section by the end of my driveway and ensured that even though this work was contracted by NYSEG, that all of us neighbors were treated as important

Shut off my gas and left me in the cold overnight in November. Lurked around my home harassing my wife and I multiple times while leaving for work before 7am; trying to get access into my home without identification. Ripped out my concrete driveway and replaced it with cold patch. Ripped up new sod and overfilled the area leaving me to excavate and restore. Ripped out a gravel driveway apron and backfilled with silt. Illegally accessed my mailbox to leave flyers. Left pieces of rusty pipe and tracer wire in the street and right-of-way. Absolutely insane that National Grid would hire these guys.

Shut my gas off for a project that they said would take 2 hrs. Took over 8hrs and they didn’t even turn my gas back on. Went down in my basement to grab meat for dinner and they knocked out the plug to two freezers!!! $1000 in meat gone! Not store bought meat either, fresh meat. They are the slowest most incompetent workers I’ve ever seen. So beyond pissed.

Would give a 0 star review if I could but the workers are rude and unprofessional! They not only tore up about 40 lawns illegally in my neighborhood instead of staying in the easement between the street and sidewalk, they were pissing in the street, parking equipment illegally on lawns, they broke a pvc drainage pipe on someone's lawn by illegally driving and parking heavy equipment on their lawn. These workers are nasty and told a friend down the street to shut up and go back in the house when she was telling them to get off her lawn because they were on it illegally.

This company was hired by the Town to lay pipe. The DDS workers pretty much tricked us into a outside meter, because its optional. They came in my house for hours leaving the door open in December. They also messed up our water tank, now our water is always scolding hot. Now these guys are no where to be found. They broke our stuff for work we never wanted. I would not recommend this company.
