I had a kitchen design consultation with Mahtab through Home Depot’s kitchen design services, and it was a complete waste of time. During the appointment, she barely paid attention to what I was saying and didn’t seem interested in understanding my needs or preferences. I had to repeat myself multiple times, and even then, it felt like she wasn’t listening. After the consultation, I followed up with several emails to clarify details and ask questions — and received no response. Not even a simple acknowledgment. The lack of communication and basic professionalism was incredibly frustrating. This was by far the worst customer service experience I’ve ever had. I would not recommend working with her if you expect responsiveness, attention to detail, or any level of customer care.

Dear Store Management, I am a Potomac resident and wanted to share a concern regarding a recent experience in your store. Unfortunately, it was one of the worst customer service experiences I have had in a very long time. An employee named Jacob, who identified himself as a Hardware Supervisor, was extremely rude and unhelpful. He appeared to have little understanding of the issue I brought forward and undermined another employee who was offering a much more reasonable and helpful approach to my situation. Instead of resolving the issue professionally, his attitude came across as egotistical and dismissive. Typical Home Depot. Very busy in the mornings and on weekends especially. I like the new checkout register layout. The level of service has improved greatly in recent years. There's more staffing, they're very polite, will walk with you to find what you're looking for. It's a noticeable difference from several years ago when staffing was sparse and it was difficult to find anyone to help.

Wide variety. Employees very helpful, they walk you to the areas that you are looking for. Always find parking. Maybe it depends at the time on the day. I always go early morning or early afternoon. The self check is easy and employees are close by to help. The only thing that takes time is when you are trying to return something, as there is always a line. But there are little fridges selling sodas/water bottles that come handy while you wait on line.

Hugo was very helpful at helping me get samples of paint! He was very patient as I picked out many different colors. Everyone was super nice and helpful - will definitely be back to continue buying stuff for my new home renovation!
