The Home Depot

The lack of staff is truly appalling. This is definitely not the Home Depot of yesterday years. The lack of knowledgeable associates is a disgrace. Finally a multibillion dollar company who makes billions annually can employ 2 cashier to run the registers to have that personable customer experience they always take about instead of being forced to use self checkout.

Went to this store several times before the storm hit last week employees in the store lied about holding products for customers during this storm ,which others that made the effort to go there were left out then I went back for a refund for materials I did not have to use they apparently messed up on the refund which I knew something was up when it took twenty minutes for them to do it and it changed the purchase date on my account and nothing showing as far as a refund both managers knowing I was upset about it rude individuals as well. So if you like being disrespected taken from and lied to well that's this store

Tldr; - I purchased a MRCOOL DIY mini split system from HD and spent 11 hours on the phone and 3 hours in the car to receive a damaged unit. Purchased a MRCOOL DIY mini split system from home Depot because they were the only retailer I could find that still has the Gen 4 unit I was looking for (wanted to match my other system and share parts). I ordered mid May and paid to have it delivered to my home since the closest HD store is an hour away. It was shipped in 7 packages with 6 of them arriving safely within a week or so. However, the 7th package (the outdoor unit) wasn't delivered. I received a call from the FedEx shipping hub saying they couldn't deliver the unit because it was too heavy for Ground and needed to be shipped via Freight. The old lady at the customer service was very rude. We brought 8 items Milwaukee brand. They have special deals going on til today . Buy this tool get this battery free. The receipt was over charging . So we went back to ask why the amount is different. Make the long story short. The old lady said that's how the computer system is . Then she told us to leave the store . Later on that night when we went back to the store . To ask again . Why we are all charged? Then old lady lied . Saying it is only 10% off, instead of buy this tool get that battery for free. That old lady at the customer service need help . She have high temper. She get mad when she don't know the answer. That's not how you do customer service. That is more like you need service .

On my way home I thought I would stop by Home Depot and get a few things I needed for work. Everything was OK. Then as I walked beside the aisle where they had tools and so forth, they had some book bags there that I kind of liked so I grabbed it didn’t think it was a big issue or anything go towards the register to pay then, as I’m putting my stuff down to you know start scanning things one employee comes up and starts looking in the book bag and I asked him what’s going on. He’s all like “oh we were required to do this just to make sure that no one steals anything” so he’s looking inside the book bag that I had just picked up that was gonna buy to make sure I guess I hadn’t stolen things inside of it Which was totally ridiculous and he just walks away.
