The Home Depot

I just want to give a shoutout to Anna who is a cashier there. She went above and beyond to help and made the shopping experience a pleasure. She was friendly, efficient, and the personality/energy that she gave off was contagious. I know the retail/customer service industry can be challenging at times but Anna always has a positive attitude and good energy about her. Hopefully management sees this and gives her the recognition she deserves.

We went to Home Depot in Pittsfield, MA and was assisted by Ketan. He offered us a chance to save 50.00 by applying for a Home Depot credit card. We applied and were accepted. Ketan was very knowledgeable and great customer service! We purchased a hand cart. Dec. 18, 2025. We went in the store previously and asked about hand carts and the person outside told us they didn’t have any. We went in the store looking for something else and spotted them. Worked out going back in and finding it. Ketan should train other employees

I had a very disappointing experience at Home Depot. I went into the store to place an order for a new stove and refrigerator, and despite planning to pay in full, no one offered to help me. I stood there waiting, went up to the desk, and was told someone would come assist me—but no one ever showed. I ended up leaving and going to Lowe’s, where I was helped immediately and purchased everything I needed. I decided to give Home Depot another chance and called back because I needed a dryer and wanted information about renting a truck for moving. The young lady who answered transferred me three different times in under 40 seconds LITERALLY and then the call got disconnected. I was picking up an ordered item and Rosemary was behind the counter. Super pleasant and professional!! I received my item and headed out the exit, but unknowingly left my wallet on the counter. Rosemary came running out to the parking lot to return it. So very, very much appreciative for her prompt response to my carelessness.

I bought an item that had a posted price of $2.98 which rang up at $4.57. When I went to customer service they refused to honor the posted price and required me to either accept the higher price or return it. This is illegal in Massachusetts because they are required to honor the lowest posted price. I have zero trust in this store and am very disappointed in their illegal practices.
