The Home Depot

Who knew that out of all the stores I've encountered, Home Depot would be the one that got me into the Christmas spirit!! I already love coming here and I want one of just about every tool I see...even though I can barely properly use a hammer. There seemed to be an employee ready to assist in every isle of this location and they have some good sale items I picked up.

They really work with you. They admit when they’re wrong. If something is priced wrong, they will honor the price. I’ve only had good experiences there so far.

Fantastic customer service from the workers there last evening prior to the big snow storm arriving. Big shout out to Steve, who works the Pro desk. What a wonderful employee he is and he went out of his way to assist my friend and I. Also, big thanks to the employee who helped us find a smaller gas container in the back. He was great also!

Just another quick stop for projects. I think Home Depot should have less self service and more customer service. I do not work for Home Depot. I pay for products which allows them to stay in business.

I’ve been purchasing building materials here for years now. This year some overpaid genius in administration decided to change the return policy for returns without a receipt. Because of this, I am stuck with a lot of materials I do not need that should be easily restocked on their shelves and refunded. I spend six figures annually between Home Depot and Lowe’s and now I’ll only be dealing with Lowe’s. I consider this horrible customer service, especially when it’s blamed on “the computer system” that automatically denies the return and no ability for a store manager to override the denial (which I do not believe for a second). Employees and staff are always great. Return policies are simply unacceptable. Whoever thought this genius policy would help the company profit was sadly mistaken.
