Tri Valley Home Repair

They are the worst. As reported by many, first home insurance selected trivalley for the broken icemaker in a refrigerator. The contractor called in on Tuesday asking for a reschedule on Friday. Didn't show up on Friday. After following up on Friday with first home warranty, they called the contractor and asked to come home later in the evening. The guy name Chris showed up, had a bit of attitude. He said hogg wire in the icemaker is broken. He will replace the parts on Monday after submitting a report on Friday. Monday, I followed up with the contractor, as usual he didn't pick up. I called first home american, they said the contractor submitted the report with no mechanical failure. BEWARE! DO NOT USE THEM! They were sent out by our home warranty companycame to repair my dryer and promptly told me what was wrong with it. They ordered parts and said they would return the following Friday. Calls Friday and claims he's stuck in traffic. Reschedules for Tuesday. Calls Tuesday and says the parts are not in yet. Says he'll be here Friday. Calls Friday and says the parts are running late on a UPS truck and the parts won't arrive until later that evening. They say they will need to reschedule for the following Friday. Calls the Thursday before the appointment to tell me the parts are in Southern California and he will need to reschedule. Get a call Friday from the home warranty company saying the repairman claims it's a 2 person job and he will not repair it. We have been wi

None of the reviews are great but hopefully if someone is looking at this they will give up sooner than later. This contractor was sent to us through home warranty for a broken dishwasher mid October. They came two weeks later (end of October) and said they needed to order a part. They had us pay them the $75 service fee in cash, we paid $80 and he said he would give us the $5 when he returned. It has been over 3 months and he has only returned one call which gets even sketchier. I have called 15 plus times with no answer or return call over the course of 6 weeks. I have never done a review before I had to have my daughter help me. I don't know how this company stays in business. I would never use this company ever again. I didn't have a choice the home warranty uses them. My dryer went out on Dec.18 2018 and Tri-Valley was sent out. It is now Jan 9th and my dryer is not fixed.The real frustrating part is they will not talk to you. I always had to call the home warranty company. I left a detailed message with Tri-Valley saying I have a 10 yr old grandson who is severally handicap (functions at a 6 mo. old). Needless to say I need a washer and dryer. I can't believe someone would not be understanding of my situation and try to communicate with me to resolve the problem. I STRONGLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

I had to wait 3 weeks for this company to assess my dishwasher. Then they took $75 after saying they would order parts just for my insurance to tell me my claim was denied. These people are not trustworthy, not professional, no communicative and not timely. Please stay far away from this company. If I could give a half a star, or a negative star I would.
