TruGreen Lawn Care

I recently had Tru Green perform aeration and overseeding on my lawn. The technician arrived on time and was courteous and professional throughout. He provided excellent service. The service was very thorough and the bare patches received extra aeration and seedling. It’s a worthwhile service and I recommend it for anyone wanting to revitalize their lawn.

We bought this property 4 years ago and the lawn was pretty roughy with bare spots and weeds. 11 months ago we brought in TruGreen to help reclaim our lawn. As you see the lawn has made a complete turnaround, green and full, much less weeds and bare spots. I can’t recommend TruGreen enough as the guided me through mistakes I made with the cut height of my lawn. Our lawn is probably the nicest in at least a 3 block radius.

Tru-Green sent me a notification of an upcoming lawn treatment for Oct. 16th, 2025. No one ever showed up, - even after calling the local office and asking for information, there was no communication from the technician nor could the office help me. I regret signing on with Tru Green and if I could get my money back I would cancel. My local company was much better than this corporate attempt to service lawns.

After months of disappointment due to South Carolina branch workers, I hope that I’m now on track again! The crew at the Asheville/Candler franchise have been great! Getting my problems resolved by Tammy in the office, then Steven actually coming out in the field (to assess) has renewed my confidence in the TruGreen name. Ronald Gillikin and his assistant did my aeration and overseeding this morning. I was impressed with Ronald’s knowledge and the work he performed. Kudos to the team!

Received excellent service today from Shannon and Josh who provided our 1 acre lawn with granular fertilizer and they applied liquid spot treatment for weed control. They were very responsive to our needs!
