Tylers Lock and Key Service

I went in on 3/3/26 to have two copies made of a house key. There was one worker behind the counter, a guy, and he made the keys. Then told me it was $3.50. I gave him a $20.00 bill. He told me he did not have access to the cash register and took out his own wallet and gave me $12.00. I looked at the guy with a confused look and he said, "Have a nice day." Then asked the lady behind me, "What can I do for you, Dear?" I left. Where is my $4.50 Tyler's Lock and Key Service?

My friend was locked out of her house. The man from Tyler came promptly. He was caring and helpful. He had her back in her house on a cold, windy day promptly.

The worst customer service - I’d give 0 stars if I could. When I dropped the locks off to be re-keyed, they made me feel as though I was an inconvenience to them and continued to huff and puff through our encounter. I should have taken my things and left at that point. However, I did not and when I returned to pick up the keys, the woman at the front desk barely spoke to me and then proceeded to toss my items on the counter. After reading other reviews, it seems as though this seems to be a common problem for this business and I should have assessed prior to giving them my money.

Not great service.. the lady got mad when I asked for a written quote to provide for my employer and said she was going to charge extra because I asked for a written quote.

Was a little rude at first, but toward the end his attitude seemed somewhat better, probably because it was time to pay. Cost me more than what was quoted on the phone but I didn't feel like getting my head bit off so I didn't say anything.
