TZ Electric recently installed a new HVAC minisplit system in our home. We had three technicians: Tyler, Pat, and Ian. They were kind and respectful of our home and did a great job cleaning up after themselves at the end of each day. The entire process was so easy, and the work was quick and efficient. Tyler made sure we understood how to work the units remotely through the app, and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend this company for any electrical or plumbing needs. I had a great experience with TZ Electric recently. We had problems with the GFCI exterior disconnect on our hot tub for over a year and a half. Two other electricians and the hot tub company came and did some stuff, but basically everything they did didn't fix the issue. We called TZ Electric this past Friday. In that same day, I talked to both Tyler and Avery who took detailed notes on the issue, they sent their tech Adam that same day (he was at our house no less than three hours after I first called), and he replaced the entire disconnect box to a different brand that is known to cause fewer issues with hot tubs. It's been working perfectly this weekend. Big thanks to TZ Electric for their expertise, speed, and service!

UPDATE: While I appreciate getting a response from TZ, I still feel paying $290 an hour is quite a bit OVER the going rate for a scheduled job without complications. While TZ is pleasant to work with and does quality work, their estimating and invoicing feels misaligned with actual labor. I’ve used TZ Electric for a couple of years and recently approved an estimate based on two full days of labor, which is how the job was scheduled. The electrician was excellent and completed the work in less than one day, yet I was still billed the full estimate. This reflects a significant overestimation of labor time, particularly since the job was reviewed onsite in advance to prepare the estimate. Pat and Angus were pleasant, accommodating, on-time, efficient, and confident. They patiently and clearly answered every question we had relative to the work. They cleaned up very neatly after the job was complete. They installed 2 ceiling lights and we are very happy with the results. This is the 2nd time we used TZ and will plan to use as our electrician going forward.
