United Air Temp

This company is a joke. I requested flex air duct inspection through my home warranty AHS because chunks of liner were blowing through the registers. Many contracted companies that AHS contacted declined because it was a service they didn’t provide. Lo and behold, United Air Temp accepts and sends someone out. The service tech goes into my attic and I can hear him on the phone asking what he’s supposed to be looking for. He comes back down and says he found nothing wrong. I tell him I wanted the inside of the air ducts inspected and ask if he did that. He says they don’t do that and leaves. AHS then refuses to give me a refund for the service fee. Screw American Home Shield and United Air Temp.

I had previously used the company to repair my old unit and had a good experience, so I wanted to continue service with them for the installation. I regret that decision deeply. I trusted their recommendation during a very difficult time and later learned that what was installed was a basic, low-efficiency system, not the higher-quality one I believed I was purchasing. I was contacted by United Air Temp about scheduling and maintenance for my HVAC system. I agreed and scheduled an appointment, making sure to confirm the time with them. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Last week they showed up late and had to reschedule. This week, I confirmed again for a 9–10 a.m. window. The technician told me he would arrive in 10–15 minutes, but after more than 45 minutes, no one showed. Right before my appointment window was about to end, I was notified that they rescheduled me for two hours later. This lack of punctuality, transparency, and communication shows poor organization and reliability. If a company can’t manage scheduling or customer follow-up, I can’t trust them with maintaining or fixing equipment in my home. For me, this experience

They installed an air conditioner for me just over a year ago, and at a premium price, because I needed it replaced quickly. In the year since I believe they’ve had to come out FIVE times. (I’m honestly losing count). It’s not normal for a unit to need that much attention. I have no conclusion to draw other than there was poor quality work done on the installation.

Seems like they have a few locations but they all use the same main website and phone so not sure who helped me but they came to my house in Bethesda. United Air Temp was offering "$73 or free" for drain clog fixing on a google ad so I called them. The guy on the phone said it was for clogs for drains from the house to the street. That is what I believed I had so I booked a tech to come out. They said they would put me on the emergency list which means a tech would come out as soon as available. I didn't get a email confirmation but about 3 hours later I got a call from United Air saying he was on his way. 20 minutes later he was snaking my drain. Unfortunately he wasn't able to fix it but he didn't charge me anything. I wish they had a solutions but 4 stars for coming on the same day
