United Rentals - Power & HVAC

I recently had the pleasure of working with United Rentals for an event, and I must say their service was exceptional. From the moment I reached out to inquire about their rental equipment, their team was responsive and attentive to my needs. Working with Tom in Beltsville, MD, was especially great. We needed a generator for our Community Giveback and Back-to-School Pop-Up event, which featured an LED screen and band performances. It was crucial to have the generator because we had a remark from Governor Wes Moore that had to be shown on the screen. Tom really went above and beyond to ensure we had the generator we needed, and he provided detailed information about their products. His staff managed the drop-off and delivery efficiently. On 4-23-2020 we needed a Skid Loader (Bob Cat) to move over 10 cubic yards of dirt. To our surprise Capital Rental was bought out by United and closed the Beltsville, MD location. When I arrived at United, the lady behind the counter stated they didn't have any trailers that would work on a regular ball hitch. Said I needed a Pintle Hitch, ok, can I rent it. No, you can buy it for over $200. To use only one time I don't think so. Capital Rental always rented these hitches. I said if you can't accommodate me than I'll go somewhere else and rent the equipment I need. Her reply was, OK. That was it, nothing else. I just turned and walked out. I went to SUNBELT RENTAL in Laurel MD where their customer service was off the hook!!! I'll NEVER go back to United Rentals again!!

The staff at United Rentals were very helpful and worked with me to meet my equipment needs.

Equipment pricing was quick and delivery occurred the next day. Sales person was very knowledgeable about equipment and helped me select the correct item.

Not a better vendor out there for any type of rentals you would need. I use them professionally for work and would also use them personally! Top notch service!!!!
