USA Insulation Franchise Corporation

I would like to take the time to update a review I had on USA Insulation. A few weeks after the installation two of my outside walls had puckering of paint where the installation was added. USA insulation it said somebody out to check it out. They said it was not caused by them. But it was straight lines horizontally opposite, where the holes were made to install the foam. They did send out their painter and he was going to advise me what I should do next. Well it’s been four weeks and I have not heard from anybody. This problem did not start until after the install. I have owned my home two years. Prior to moving and it was professionally painted. I have this damage a few weeks after the installation. I’m convinced it was them. I wish I’d never done it.

I had them come out and do insulation on my main floor a few years ago and tit never made a difference. I’ve been calling and them for over 2 months now to have them come out and inspect some areas that are really bad. Each it I call, I’m told their service manager will call and they never do. As of now, I cannot recommend them to anyone.

I had USA Insulation do a whole home inspection. The gentleman was friendly, knowledgeable, and confident in his recommendations. He strongly suggested I get foam insulation in my walls and blown insulation in the attic. He was fairly high pressure when it came to numbers time, and that was suspicious to me. He wanted over $2,000 for the whole project. I reached out to another company and they advised me to get a home energy audit done by Columbia Gas. I was able to get them out here next day (which is unheard of) likely due to a cancelation. They taught me a TON about what I need to do. The representative was patient, friendly, knowledgeable, and incredibly education-minded. He was shocked about the recommendation to put foam in my walls and indicated the wall insulation looked to be suf

We had them come out and do a whole house assessment. They recommended that we have the blown in insulation in the walls and the attic. We did as they recommended. even though it was more money than we thought but they convinced us that there would be money saved in the heating and cooling bills. We paid over $5,000 for our entire house. After spending a lot of money for this service, there is absolutely NO difference in the warmth of our home or the heating and cooling bills. Our home still is very cold and drafty. In the very cold days you can put your hand on any outside wall and just feel the cold. The initial problem we were having with ice forming in an outside wall closet is still happening. I would NOT recommend this service to anyone. It is a waste of a lot of money.

AWFUL!!! The salesman sold me insulation on my entire house however due to the "chimney cave" almost a 1/3 of the house could not be insulated (I did not receive a 1/3 off the price).The plugs that were initially put into this home backed out and they had to come out again to reinsert and spackle the holes that were put into the walls. I had to call the company back to fill in spots that were missed that we found during a remodel (empty wall cavities) and the plugs that were put in that time also were not secured properly, the spackle washed out, the plugs turned sideways allowing water to seep into the wall. When I called to ask for them to re-spackle and secure the plugs, I was told it was our responsibility. I will never use this franchise again! Shame on them!! Unfortunately I had to g
