Valley West Landscapes

Reached out to Valley West after a neighbor of ours had some work done and their yard looked fantastic. Super easy to have Ryan, the landscape manager, come out and assess our yard that needed what I deemed to be a complete overhaul. What is great about Valley West is they are a comprehensive service company, meaning no more finding 5 different project managers for every aspect of the yard; they do it all...fencing, lawn care, irrigation, etc. Ryan was a gem to work with and his vision was exactly what we needed. He was upfront about pricing with his quote and worked with our budget. There are no shortcuts with landscaping and you get what you pay for. Valley West Landscapes installed improvements to two sides of our property that were basically muddy pathways in need of drainage improvements. Both side yards now have beautiful stone walkways and planting areas with drainage improvements. On the south side of our property a stone wall was installed creating a long planting box which is now a full sun vegetable garden! Joy! They also replaced 25 year old gates, removed some overgrown plants, etc.. They were very willing to make changes as the project progressed. Everyone I met at this company, from the estimator, the front desk manager, the workers and the project manager were nice people who seemed to take pride in their work and to really want you to be happy with their improvements.

Update: Valley West has worked with us to help improve our yard. They have been very responsive and helpful in getting things in working order. Our sprinkler system is now working well and our lawn is looking better and we are better informed on how to maintain it. We hired Valley West to redo our backyard including installing a sprinkler system. Communication started out strong so we chose to go with them. We have since had issue after issue with the sprinkler system, largely due to them not doing their due diligence and checking the water pressure prior to installation. This has led to the sod not taking root in many places despite following the limited instructions given. They were helpful at first in trying to get things fixed but as problems kept coming up they were less responsive.

The people at Valley West are very knowledgeable and courteous. Ryan assisted me with finding a solution to the problem of how to keep my doggies clean during the rainy season (which is almost all year) by virtually making our back yard into a dog park, covered with clean, aromatic cedar chips! The dogs love it, we don't have to mow it, and there is NO MUD! Thank you, Valley West!

We hired Valley West Landscapes to do a large backyard project and they truly delivered. Ryan created a beautiful and creative design that took into account both my and my husband's preferences and ideas. Andy, the contractor, was great at communicating with us, giving us updates, and was often present on site. The crew worked hard on a logistically difficult project in all weather conditions, while respecting nap times with our little one. We would highly recommend this company and will use them again!
