We had May Tree Service remove a tree and stump grind in December 2018. Tree removal ok. Grinding a different story. Foreman said he would grind visible roots going out from stump. We had a lot that were visible. They missed a bunch of them. I could see it happening because there were a lot and with wood chips all over it would be easy to miss some. But they should have seen the missed ones when they cleaned up and took care of the ones still visible. We weren't home when they finished. I called foreman and he said he would check it out. He didn't show up. I called again early spring and left a message. But I didn't get a call back. A bit of a pain because we planted grass in that area. If you contract them for removal get something in writing, and maybe get someone else to do grinding.

I had Vernon May out for the removal of four trees and stump grinding. They were some big trees near the house that needed a crane to come out, but everything went super smoothly. Their pricing was very competitive, the crew was professional, and they cleaned up the property well.
