Rarely does anyone get the opportunity to work with a contractor who is all things professional, experienced, honest, thorough, and speedy. We were so lucky to find Jim at Village Building & Restoration! Jim handled our master bedroom renovation from soup to nuts, starting with drawing up plans, to handling the permits with our (very meticulous) city, to literally being hands on with the construction and project managing the electrical, paint, and flooring partners, maintaining the highest standards of quality. And he finished over a month ahead of schedule-- when does that ever happen?!?! I have worked with Jim at Village Building and Restoration on a number of restoration and remodeling projects. We have an old Victorian farmhouse and Jim has done exceptional work in every case. His first project was to convert a three season room to an all season media room by replacing the outside sliding doors, opening what were windows into additional doors and redoing the flooring throughout the living area to pull the conversion fully into the living space.
