Walnut Creek Parking Garage

This parking garage feels like a scam. The payment meters were broken, so everyone had to pay at the exit, which caused a long backup and trapped drivers in line. While waiting, the parking rates continued to increase, forcing people to pay more than they should have. When I tried to explain the situation, the worker was rude and unhelpful. I will never park here again.

Solid enough parking garage, very easy to get stuck in a line of people stopping and waiting for others to exit or free up a space for them (even if there are 20 spaces free on the next level up). I have generally budgeted about 10 minutes of sitting around tapping the steering wheel usually lol

Getting inside the garage is a nightmare. Is one of the worst garage to get in

first 3 hours are free and afterwards rates are not bad. counts empty spots in each level and has those green and red light thingies. 4 stars coz somehow they dont have numbered columns or spots.

Always such pandemonium. You only cover half the garage if you keep going up, and people trying to cover both sides add a lot of excess traffic. Wish they'd fix the flow. And posting number of open spaces on each level would be helpful too.
