The City of Weslaco is definitely growing and the public works department is paving the way, Impressed with the amount of work done in house and the dedication staff who work tirelessly making sure it's done right. Thank you.

I was helping a client open a new store in Weslaco, and was very, very pleasantly surprised by how well organized the city of Weslaco has its Municipal offices organized! The lady who helped us was very knowledgeable, fast, and was able to answer all questions and provide clear explanations on what we would need to do. I am really pleased to see effective government in the Valley, and seeing similarly well organized municipal offices in McAllen and La Joya. This is government that is working for the people! If you want to start a business, they are going to make it as easy as possible! Thank you, Weslaco!

The people they hire to do the road work chipped up my car with an industrial mower just to mow a little section. Threw rocks everywhere. If your to lazy to do something right then don't do it at all

I am a cranky customer and have never had issues with Works. Cheerful, helpful, and professional... Now, could someone please stop wasting our road repair money? The past two years on Westgate in front of the stadium... It was a mess in 2021, then late 2022, after fixing it, now again in 2023. Who reviews the plans and materials? City of Weslaco (CoW) people? Hidalgo County people? Texas DOT only? Whoever performed the repair did it with substandard planning and materials. We love HEB, os it their heavy trucks delivering there? Has anyone from the city had our HEB or other heart haulers sit down with TDOT and discuss needs there? Here we are one year later, and the same location is a mess again.
