Got our brand new propane tank filled there twice, first time was fine, however now after the second time our valve is broken and our propane won’t turn off and is continuing to be wasted. 😡 called the store to see if they could possibly help or give any advice and all they had to say was it wasn’t their fault.

Sometimes, Ace hardware just has items that no other store has, including Walmart and Home Depot type stores. I have found light covers for both of my bathrooms, for example. I looked everywhere for something that would fit. Sometimes, I go to ACE first so I don't have to waste time driving to Springfield. The screw department, for example, has many hard to find fasteners that other stores just don't have. Tools are interesting also. I've found a tamper that was less expensive than c&c. Their plumbing department is extensive, and the same story there less expensive, and I got in and out faster than Walmart. If you are in a hurry... check it out.

The staff is incredibly friendly and always ready to help, and they typically have exactly what we need. While the prices may be slightly higher, the quality and service make it well worth every penny.

I wasn’t impressed with this location. I ordered 2 paint samples in very similar shades. You can’t hardly tell them apart unless they are right next to each other. I painted a sample wall and chose the darker color after I had waited a full day for it to dry. I used the ace hardware paint calculator. I needed to paint 4 rooms. I am a painting newbie. I didn’t bat an eye when the calculator told me I needed 10.5 gallons. I purchased 2-5 gallon buckets and 2-1 gallon cans of paint. I took it home and got to work. I thought the application of the first coat looked rather light but knew it might look different with another coat and time to dry. Then I got to the sample wall and it was clear that they had either mixed the wrong paint or mislabeled the samples. I finished the job and it took les
