Wisconsin Building Supply - Windsor

I definitely would not recommend this company!! I read another review of this company that was the exact same experience that we had which is a level of incompetence that I have never seen anywhere else. We used Wisconsin Building Supply to supply the materials for our new house build and they made mistake after mistake resulting in many unnecessary delays. They could not get our window order correct after multiple tries. They sent the wrong sized windows after telling us that they had been out to measure everything to be sure they were correct. They took months to deliver the doors and kept giving us delivery dates that they then continued to miss and would not provide any explanation for why they could not get the doors to us when they said they would. Of course WBS is a large supplier of materials, but for them to say they dont have any sort of way to cut a 12' 2x6" in half was too much of a job for them. A lumber yard without a radial arm saw?!? Come on. FYI Blifferts up the road will hook you up.

Maria B helped me with ordering a bath vanity. She is knowledgeable about the construction details and made the buying experience pleasant and stress free! And the vanity when delivered was beautiful! Just what I wanted...tall vanity, single undersink compartment with a large drawer underneath. Couldn't be happier!

A simple door order turned into 6 months of unreturned phone calls, excuses, lies and blaming everyone else but themselves. I own a house in the Madison area and I had a window crack recently. The window repair companies I called said I needed to know the brand of the windows before they could move forward. I found that WBS supplied the materials to build this house and contacted them. Leroy at WBS went above and beyond to help me figure this out. He gathered my information and he stayed in touch with me throughout the lengthy process to get in touch with the rep etc. He even called to let me know that he was on it even though we might be waiting a while. He was always polite and answered all my questions which I appreciated as someone going through this for the first time. If this is how they treat people who don't do direct business with them, then they must take care of of their customers even better.
