It took them forever to come out and actually start with just the concrete. Once concrete was all done they waited 2 weeks just to get started framing everything up. We had our back patio made out of cedar which is the look we were going for. They left it framed out for about a week then came back and started doing the top. After they decked the top for the shingles. I was informed that I needed to pay the rest of my money if I wanted it roofed. So I laid $1,000 down for deposit to start the project. then $6,000 for material. All the cedar and decking. Then got told I needed to pay the remainder $3,000 so

Horrible. I initially reached out to Danny as a fellow business owner seeking a subcontractor. Danny said he could “use my help” with installation of shingles on one of his deck jobs he was building. He was all over the place on what he needed, and didn’t give a straight answer. He was seeking a turnkey price on the install. I gave him a price, sent materials in and told him that I would need a deposit, even though I had a friend that vouched for him (as I didn’t know him personally). He laughed and said “what’s wring, you don’t trust me?” He then said “I don’t trust you either” Meanwhile he was in route from Granbury to white settlement to pick up materials AGAINST our agreement. Would highly recommend them for any future projects. He was completely straightforward with his contract and completed our back patio in a timely manner. Danny was always in contact with me with the plans and his employees were very professional. From the concrete, framers, electrician, roofers and painters... great work! We love our patio!

I can't disclose the whole story because we are in litigation, but I encourage you to read my other Google reviews to see that I do not leave bad reviews unjustifiably. I can say this however; we have worked with many home contractors over the years in several different states. Most were fantastic, some did subpar work, but never in all of my experiences before Wood Brothers Construction, did the thought even cross my mind to hire a lawyer. Not only does the project started by WBC not pass the city safety inspection despite several attempts and many days over the promised timeline, there are several items in the contract that are not going to be completed.
