Active One Construction

We had Active 1 install new windows in our home a few weeks ago and we are so pleased with the whole experience. I first called on Saturday, Mother's day weekend, got an answering machine, and left a message, typical experience when dealing with contractors today. Well to my suprise Rocky called me Sunday Mother's day, we set up an appointment for that Tuesday and everything was great for the rest of the project. My wife and I visited their showroom picked the windows, color, trim and style we wanted, Rocky said it would take around 8 weeks to get the windows in and almost to the day they called to schedule the install. The 2 guys who came to do most of the work, Rodney and Andrew, were both were a little older but had over 40 years experienceeach and definitely knew what they were doing,

Our painter told us it was time to replace rotted windows. We contacted all the major suppliers. Due to the size of our windows straight vinyl wouldn't really work. Active-One's Marvin fiberglass units weren't the cheapest but they are by far the best engineered windows of all the quotes. Additionally, unlike some of the promised "we'll do all 30 in a day" offers, Active-One was willing to do upgrades to the windows, making them bigger and better. That included replacing double-hung windows with much bigger bay windows requiring some real carpentry artistry. The crews were alway professional & punctual, did a fantastic job and didn't leave a single piece of debris behind. We're looking forward to our next home upgrade project with Active-One.

I met with and secured estimates from four national window representatives. I should say that I extensively researched windows before sitting down with any of the company representatives, so I understood what I as dealing with.
