Albert the Chimney Sweep

Has been our "Go To" for annual Chimney sweeping for many years. Now, they no longer answer the telephone. I drove over there yesterday and is daughter gave me his cell phone. That number answered with a message "Better to text." I did twice on different days. Still no response. Going some where else. It is obvious that he has either too much work or just doesn't want work. Only reason for any stars = they used to be great and reliable. APPEARS THEY HAVE RETIRED. Used Four Seasons out of Hobart Today. On time, excellent service. Will use them in the furute.

Very frustrating experience with Albert the Chimney Sweep. We had a chimney cap that was leaking into our home. We called and put a down payment in November, it was their busy time but they assured us it was a quick job and she could “send him out on a Saturday if he needed to” they did not come out to fix the cap for 4 months, all while snow and rain was leaking into our house. They NEVER answer the phone, you always have to leave a message, and then they don’t get back to you for days. We went 3 weeks without hearing back from them after leaving multiple messages. The chimney cap was installed and he did good work, it looks great and is not leaking anymore, however if you have an urgent problem do NOT go with this company. Do not recommend. Explained in detail what our issue was. They assured us they did the service requested. Took the day off, technician came out (over an hour late) Informed us they they dispatched the wrong technician, but again they do the services requested. He just could not handle it. He said someone from the office would call me same day. Of course they did not. I spoke with office this morning and they claim they do not do the services they confirmed with us previously. Waste of our time and extremely unprofessional.

They did a great job! They answered my many questions as a first time fireplace owner. They were friendly, professional, respectful of our home (no tracking dirt in the house or any filth from the fireplace!). Will definitely hire them for our next chimney service as needed.

FANTASTIC experience with them! They were on time, professional, and incredibly knowledgeable. We will use them every year going forward and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a chimney sweep!
