BELFOR Property Restoration (St. Louis)

Very unhappy with the service, I eventually fired them through my insurance company to seek restoration services elsewhere. I was told because my job was “smaller”, it was not a priority. I have already been over a month without access to my washer/dryer and they wanted me to wait another month. I would not hire them again. Not to mention, the inappropriateness of the first project manager who stated he only kept showing up because he was attracted to me... So I guess to be a “priority” to the company, they have to have a project manager who is sexually attracted to you. The whole process has been frustrating and unprofessional. 0/10 - I will blast the word that this company.

Feces and sewer water was pressurized through my toilet by an MSD drain flushing. Therefore shooting 2-3 feet up and onto my adjacent wall. I was directed to use BELFOR and I’m so thankful for their rescue. Being a head of household mother with a 4 year old, this was was no mop and rag clean up job. BELFOR acted swiftly and after learning the time frame they even accessed my baseboard damage. They were thorough with sanitizing, map vacuuming/ taking pictures/ explaining why a certain item had to be thrown away and how to itemize your loss. BELFOR was sympathetic/understood the severity of an issue like this, eased my mind and we’re so clean with their clean up. Our home was damaged in the March 14th tornado that hit Arnold Mo. Our insurance company recommended BELFOR for our restoration. They were immediately out the following day or two. My family has never experienced something like this before so we were very uncertain how this works. Chris Faulkner was our project manager and let me tell you he has been AMAZING!! He has been there every step of the way making sure everything is being completed properly. He has guided us on the whole process and has answered all of our questions and concerns. Most of all he made sure we were completely happy with all the work that needed to be done on our house to make it our home again!!! Therefore with all this said I would recommend this company time and time again!! AN AMAZING COMPANY AND AMAZING EMPLOYEE'

If you want a contractor to finish the job in a timely manner, look elsewhere. The work being done was not a big job. The work that has been completed we have actually been happy with so far. The problem is it has been delayed, started, delayed, started and now we are being delayed again. Was hoping to write a review after all the work was completed, but they seem to keep taking on new clients because of floods and then telling us they are too busy to finish the second stage of putting everything back after our leak. We contracted Belfor through our insurance company after another company completed the initial mitigation work, but couldn’t finish the remediation due to over commitment.
