Blackout Seal Coating

I had a very bad experience with this company. I contacted them in June asking for sealcoating. They came out two weeks later to give an estimate. I signed the estimate and sent it back. They had written in small letters on the bottom 2019. It was not noticeable and no attempt was made to contact me to explain this. I did not notice it and I called them in August asking why they had not set up an appointment and they told me that they were not planning to come out until 2019. I was flexible on timing, but asking us to wait a year is unreasonable. Next, I called them and both Kim (the owner) and Sue were very rude over the phone. I can't comment on their quality, but if you work with them, expect to be strung along for days and rude treatment if you aren't a big project.

If I could give them ZERO stars, I would. After being a loyal customer for years, they strung me along for all of 2017 starting in April, wound up not coming out at all, now the weather has gotten too cold for me to get anyone else and my driveway will not be seal coated for the 1st time since I bought my home. Terrible customer service and complete disregard for an annual repeat customer, they tried to use the "too much rain excuse" even though we had a 6 week long drought this year with absolutely no rain. AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Very poor service. Are not there to receive their messages, left message on my phone to call them before 7:00 the next day if I want them to do my driveway. I did call them the night before and say I wanted them to do my driveway. I cleared my driveway and left a check on the door like they asked for. When I came home from being out, neighbor had his driveway done but not mine. My check was still on the door. They are never there to get their phone messages.

We’d give 0 stars if we could. Signed a contract to have my driveway seal coated back in May. It is now October, still no sealcoating. Received a letter in the mail today from them stating they have no time to complete this Really!!!! Since May and no time? Never again will I hire them. Horrible company!!!!

Always dependable and do a great job. I have been using them for 5 years every year.
