Dean's literally saved my house and my sanity after having a terrible experience with a contractor before them. I would emphatically recommend them! They are knowledgeable, communicative, and take the time to really understand what you want. The first contractor I used cut corners, caused safety issues for my family, and created an absolute mess. Rick and team came in, thoroughly assessed the concerns I had, and worked collaboratively with me to ensure that I felt comfortable throughout. They offered suggestions for elevating the look, that I did not think of, and brought samples so I could see the vision come to life. The final product exceeds my expectations! Live with my Mom and she owns the house. Had a grant through CODE, Jamestown, NY for a new roof Winter 2023. They but on the new roof in a snowstorm. It was never inspected afterwords. We were here and no one came to go up on the roof to inspect. They caused damage to gutters that are not on well after removing and a soffit that is still missing and a buckled porch ceiling they claim was like that before the new roof, it was not, have homeowner's insurance inspection before new roof to prove it. A contractor came by 5/2/2025 and he said by just looking at it from the ground, the roof was not properly installed and it was not from weather damage. He is going to come inspect the roof outside and inside the attic 5/8/2025 and make a report and take pictures which will be turned over to CODE a

Dean's construction installed a new roof on our house. The roof is beautiful! The crew members were both friendly and professional. This was a winter installation and there was some damage to our window screens due to the high winds. Richard made this right by repairing any screens that were damaged. This is a great family-owned business, and they stand by their work.

My husband and I have been trying to get an estimate from Dean's for 3 weeks. They came to the house on June 25th (2019) to assess the work and we have not heard from anyone since. We found out about them thru Lowe's when they installed our new door. After they obtained the correct door size (Lowe's mistake) they did an excellent job installing the door. That's why we wanted them to do our floor repair and flooring installation. My husband has called their number twice and emailed once and still no response. We finally had to go with another company for an estimate. If you don't want the job, just say so. Hopefully this doesn't happen to anyone else.

These folks are also subcontracted out by Lowes. Don't bother doing business with Lowes if Dean's is going to get the work. They don't bother even calling you when the material is in. Took two calls to Lowes to get Dean's to contact me. Then they don't even keep their appointments. Ending up telling Lowes to just give me a refund. Can't comment on capabilities or other business practices.
