John Mills reached out to me, a locally based artist, to design and paint a large scale mural for them. Everyone from the company who communicated and worked with me on this project was extremely professional and courteous. I was very happy to see a local company supporting other small businesses, especially those of us in the arts. John Mills has also done plenty of electrical work in my home. They've always worked efficiently and I've never had an issue with the results.

We had the pleasure of collaborating with Laurie to customize the companies Holiday appreciation baskets. The attention to detail to ensure each basket was made with love while paying close attention to the quality of the contents to ensure each basket would represent their appreciation to its recipient tells us that they care greatly for their customers and those that support their company. We were proud to have walked alongside this business to help express their gratitude to those that support them.

Just had our house electrical system updated to dual 200 amp service, new meter box and new wire underground from the house to the transformer and a car charger installed. John Mills Electric did outstanding work. They adjusted the number of electricians on site during the day to ensure the appropriate number were there for each phase of their work. NYSEG cut the power around 8am and everything was reconnected and working at approximately 6pm. Tremendous effort to ensure their work was completed and we had power restored by the end of the day. I am trying to get a quote to get service back on a home for my company. I have already received a quote from another company and needed another. I was told by someone to call Mills as it should be cheaper. Veronica called to “gather info” and would have Alisha call me back. Veronica called me right back and said an “electrical inspector would need to come out first”. I said I just need a quote for this for my company to move forward. She then said if “NYSEG took off the meter, they should put it back on”. That proves that she has no idea what she is talking about or doesn’t want to deal with it, as I already called NYSEG who told me to call an electrician. I am not at all satisfied. They came over a month ago to my house. Took couple pictures. Said they would get back to us with quotes. I called three weeks after initial visit and they would check on and get back to me. Have still heard nothing. Took my initial fee and charged me for 1 hr, 15 min when came. Is this how to run a business UPDATE: I have been contacted by this company after putting out this review. They apologized and refunded my entire payment to them that we made. They came out immediately and looked at our issues. They were very professional and very thorough. They were also very quick to get us an estimate on costs for there services to fix our issues
