Distinct Air

I had a carbon monoxide sensor go off in my basement over the weekend in a 50 year old house that I purchased 2 1/2 years ago. I knew nothing about the history of the hvac equipment at the time of purchase, but it has operated very well for all that time. First thing today (Monday) Mike was able to inspect the components of my furnace and test the supply plenum and vents, as well as the exhaust vent, for dangerous gasses. He reported 0 ppm in the plenum and vents within the house and 17 ppm in the outdoor exhaust vent. 100 ppm is acceptable but furnaces must be replaced with a 200 ppm reading. He was able to tell me the age of the furnace, the condition of the heat exchangers (excellent), and explained to me that the furnace had been converted to natural gas from LP at some point.
