Force Basement Solutions

Force just finished up 4x jobs for me. Initially I wanted them to do a general inspection of the basement for any red flag issues. 1. Replacing/repair collapsing external foundation brick. 2. Wall anchors due to bow in the wall. 3. Plaster coat the same wall. 4. Windows on same wall. All 4 were done cleanly and the finished product looks top notch. The external block repair looks like it never happened. They also repaired the surrounding mortal around the corner. Above and beyond. But wow did it make the wall look so much better. The wall anchors were installed on my worst wall and while its not something that is a wow factor. They did a great job anchoring them and smoothing out the fresh concrete. Our 4 season room had footing failure and was settling. We called Force, and our PM, Rob Williams immediately responded, inspected the project the day before Thanksgiving. The day after Thanksgiving we met with the estimate and proposal, which was right in line with what we expected. The install pros started yesterday morning, installing 7 massive piers from the inside of our crawl space, digging 4 feet down to the footing, and attaching huge steel clamps to the concrete footing. Then they hydraulically pushed 30 foot steel tubes into the ground and clamped off to the footing. The installation crew were so polite, professional, clean and efficient. We hired Force Basements to do a full perimeter dewatering of our 1957 basement after it flooded twice in a month with all of the rain in July of this year (2025). We had plans to finish it but after the flooding we obviously had some problems to address beforehand. Joe from Force came out to give an estimate. He was professional, knowledgeable, and prompt with delivering the estimate. Justin contacted us after we signed the contract for the "top tier" or "best grade" system. During their install visit, they determined that they could reduce the scope of their work (and cost) and still give us a solid solution. These people are professional and know what they’re doing. We have been remodeling our 1940’s house for the last 6 years with different projects. There have been just a couple of businesses that I would recommend and Force Basements is definitely one of them. They did an excellent job replacing our original basement windows with glass block and they look great! We are very happy with their work and their ability to communicate with the customer. We don’t have a single complaint. They were more expensive than our other bids but well worth it and they were the only ones who actually wanted the job and responded.
