Hired Porter to upgrade an old outbuilding (OB) from 40 to 100 amps, run two 15-amp cables underground from the home elec. panel to a new OB, and add a few receptacles/switches. They brought a mechanical trencher that could have been used for most of the trenching, as the Utility Co. had cleared a 65’ stretch and I also affirmed nothing buried there, but M*** the crew boss (CB) told his crew to trench it all by hand, yet brought only one narrow trenching shovel. He deviated from work discussed during the estimate by trenching an additional 35’ along the new OB slab to route one of the 15-amp lines on the other side, vs. running both lines together straight into the bldg. Went with Porter to install solar panels on my house. After several months of research and quotes, Porter was the clear choice. Cameron was patient, knowledgeable and assisted with some revision after the initial quote. From there the process continued to be smooth with regular communication and updates.
