Recently purchased a new dishwasher for my home and Ibrahim at the Cortland location went above and beyond to make sure I got the product I was looking for at the best price possible. From the moment we started our conversation he made the purchase so smooth. He even set up delivery. Awesome job Cortland Lowe's.

This is a depressing store where the store manager doesn't bother to acknowledge customers as he passes them in the aisles. There are a few long-time employees who are excellent. There are some newer employees who take the job and customers seriously. The bulk of the employees here are not worth their salt. If you go there and you know you are going to have questions, bring a handy friend or family member with you.

I recently visited this Lowe’s location and had an unfortunate experience at the self-checkout. I had two separate transactions—one with cash and the other with a card. I’ve used the self-checkout lanes at Lowe’s many times before and have always found the interface simple and convenient. However, after scanning just one item, an employee hovered over me the entire time, despite me letting her know that I would ask for help if needed or that the machine would alert her if there was an issue. This made me feel very uncomfortable. Eventually, I asked to use a staffed checkout, but there were no open lanes other than customer service, so I had to complete my purchase there. I went on and asked two staff personnel, who were talking to one another, where a product was. They were nice and looked it up for me and stated where the department and isle was. I got to the isle/department and there wasn't anyone around. I said, "heck with this.". On my way out of the store, there were many groups of staff personnel who were talking to one another and not paying attention to the customers who were in the store. I went to another store (their competitor), where they were excellent in assisting me with the items I needed.

I worked with Ron in the appliance department to replace my refrigerator. He was very helpful both over the phone and in the store. I knew exactly what make and model I wanted and he was able to arrange a prompt delivery that was convenient for me. It was a pleasure to work with Ron. I would be happy to have the opportunity to do business with Ron in the future.
