Madewell Kitchens

I wanted to replace my cabinet doors and drawer fronts. I have made my own in the past but I am older now and no longer have a work shop so I decided to buy the doors. Most cabinet shops don't want to just sell you doors, they want the entire job or nothing. Madewell agreed to my request. They measured everything accurately and delivered doors with soft-close hinges ready to install. If it weren't for a couple of minor problems that were quickly remedied I would have given them 5 stars.

We were forced into a kitchen remodel after water damaged kitchen. We shopped several cabinet companies, received prices, drawings etc. We chose Madewell because of the value they brought to the job. James Madewell designed the kitchen cabinet layout based on how it should flow when cooking, etc. He had some great ideas and we implemented those, The installers were extremely friendly and professional We actually ordered our cabinets prior to having some beam work done (because of Covid 19 we were afraid the plant would shut down). So as a result, after the cabinets were ordered, they had to redo one of the cabinets on the end to accommodate for the new support beam. There was no additional charge. The cabinets are beautiful and I love working with both James and Russ Madewell. I

—5 ⭐️!! Update #2: I decorated my kitchen cabinets for Christmas, unfortunately red from ribbon bled through the finish of the cabinet doors. We called Madewell, they said the cabinets were under warranty but unfortunately that door is no longer available. They gave us cleaning instructions, factory reps phone number but never offered to come and look at the damage. The factory was of little help, giving us names of other cabinet companies, who refused to help because we didn’t buy from them. We have hired a local family owned cabinet company to repaint the cabinet doors. Madewell does NOT stand behind what they sell! Stay as far away from this company as you can! UPDATE: We had to hire a Corian installer to try to fix the terrible job done on our project. SUPERIOR SOLID SURFACE came out

I used Madewell kitchens on my home 13 years ago and they did a wonderful job. I just moved back here to Hudson and called them to give me an estimate for another kitchen which I fully intended to hire them for. I had an appointment today at 1 o’clock and nobody showed up. I waited till 2 o’clock and nobody showed up. I called the office and found out that the person who schedules was out sick And had a different appointment book. They offered to come out tomorrow, which was unacceptable to me as I had taken this afternoon off. Madewell kitchens could’ve made a ton of money on me because I fully intended to hire them again. I could’ve dealt with the missed appointment, but it was a lack of regard by the lady I talked to on the phone about my inconvenience. that makes me never wanna recomm

Was told this was a good place for cabinets and counter tops. Viewed samples in person and gave 'very' rough estimate. Someone was to contact me, make a house call, get exact measurements and give me an estimate. Received an estimate on the rough estimate by email . Called Wendy back, she stated I would get a return call for an appointment in a few days. That was almost 4 WEEKS ago wirh no response. If you didn't want my business or money tell me up front . I've found a reliable, friendly company for my remodel.
